Iza Whiskey and Eats

We had a great experience tonight! The restaurant was in a tough spot because there was a gas main break in the neighborhood resulting in the inability to cook for all local restaurants. The owner invited us in for a drink—and we ended up eating a delicious sushi meal. Our waitress was lovely. We can’t wait to get back!!

We have been here several times now, and we have always had an excellent experience. The sushi is great, and the owner is so welcoming and accommodating. He has shared some new dishes with us when we’ve sat at the bar and has even offered to put together some different vegetarian rolls as I don’t eat meat. It’s so refreshing to see an owner that is passionate about what he does and is so hospitable. Not to mention, the sushi is the best we have had in Chapel Hill. We will definitely be coming back here!

I have had the pleasure of dining here twice now and both times were delightful. First of all, the staff is SO sweet and welcoming. The chef even came out to personally talk to tables and check in on their experience. Second, the food is delicious and the custom cocktails are you unique and fun to try. I wish this restaurant the best of luck and look forward to dining there again in the near future!

Amazing Spot, in a great location on Rosemary Street. All of the food is incredible and the owner has gone to great lengths to make the food top notch. The place has a really fun feel to it, and all of the bartenders and staff are so friendly. A really great way to spend a night to try some fun dishes and cocktails. Would highly recommend to anyone.
