Hibachi Poke

Really good quality for poke and hibachi in Chapel Hill, and convenient to Carraway Village too!

Good food nice staff price $$$good love

First time being here. Everything was good and quick to order. They have a very nice staff and food was good and flavorful.

I rate four stars for the following reasons:
⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Value. You get what you pay for. Personally, I will go elsewhere and pay a premium for premium ingredients;
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Service. I got carry out and the cashier was attentive and helpful;
⭐⭐ for Fish Quality. Most other poke places have chunks of tuna. Hibachi Poke has an inferior mush of very finely minced fish. A tad unappetizing;
⭐⭐ for Presentation. The signature bowls are a bit bland in color. The "romaine" looked more like iceberg. Other poke places have more diverse ingredients which amps up the presentation;
⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Rice Quality. The rice is perfectly polished. Wonderful texture. Some other places just serve steamed rice.

I'm kind of new to Poke' but I got the classic Hawaiian and it was amazing! Loads of fresh tuna and the sauce was delicious and not overpowering. I got the large which for $12.99 was a steal. The place was bright and clean, and they had pictures of some of their other meals (including a seafood noodle soup) that I will definitely return to try.
