(November 5, 2019, 12:49 pm)I have gone to this place since it opened. After a while, and despite my appearance changing pretty regularly, I started being recognized. I moved a few hours away from Chapel Hill and couldn't make it to Kurama for a couple years but, when I went in a little over a month ago, I was greeted warmly and handed a fresh plate of one of my favorite rolls without having to order it. One of my favorite places to go.

(July 29, 2019, 3:49 pm)I work nearby and have seen this place but never really thought to stop in till recently with the missus. It was a very pleasant surprise. The restaurant focuses on sushi and has a great selection, abs a good selection of alternatives too. Everything was fresh and delicious (I got the eel bowl, the missus got 2 orders of the crunchy, spicy avocado roll). The service was very good and the prices were very reasonable. I'll be coming back for lunch for sure. I can't wait to try the ramen.
