Great overall experience from start to finish. Great service, and great food.

My partner and I went to college at LSU, where the first Canes was opened, and this one brought us back! So happy to finally have one close by!

Meh. Greasy chicken. It’d probably be great drunk food, but I ate it sober. The sauce was okay, but everything was super greasy, fries, tenders, bread, etc. It made me think Bojangles was a healthy option, comparatively speaking. The service was okay. I will say the restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and pretty comfortable. Probably won’t go back, though.

As someone who used to live in Ohio, I had been looking forward to eating at this new Canes in CH. Came on a Sunday before noon and was immediately told they were out of Texas Toast. Which was so disappointing, considering it’s one of my favorite parts of eating at Canes. I also was going to order extra toast, cause I love it that much.

We were able to find parking a block from the store, but it was a bit of a battle over the limited spots. When we arrived it was busy, but the wait wasn’t horrible at that time. The waiting area was a bit crowded. The place looked nice though. They have an upstairs seating area, with an elevator for those who need it. But you still need to wait downstairs to get your food.

I ordered the 3 piece combo and the chicken was ok, but certainly would have been better with some toast. The fries were not great and had zero flavor. Made me wish I had ordered extra Canes sauce to dip them in, since the amount they give you with your meal is minimal.

Can’t say I’ll be looking to return any time soon.

Had lunch here this afternoon. Arrived a few minutes after 12 and the line was around the corner. They handled the line efficiently and the staff did excellent. I loved the upstairs seating and the UNC and North Carolina decor. The chicken was amazing. Well worth the wait!
