Waffle House

I have eaten at a lot of Waffle Houses along the east coast and this one is one of the best. I just passed through town but the waitress was so friendly and the food was so good I felt right at home. Coffee and bacon here is even better than at my local one.

Five stars based on what's available at 4AM in Hillsborough -- and I think this is just about the only game in town! As long as you understand the parameters at play here and adjust your expectations -- you're at Waffle House, not a gourmet diner! -- you'll be happy with your breakfast. Cooked to order, so can sometimes take a little longer than fast food restaurants. If I'm in a hurry to go fishing at 4am, I'll phone my order in so it'll be waiting on me.

My wife and I usually like a quiet corner table, but the place was soo busy that we reluctantly took counter seats. I was pleasantly surprised to see how entertaining it was to see The cooks and waitress doing their jobs. These are good people doing a good days work, on their feet hustling back and for.
I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they had an A heath inspector rating of 91!
There motto was true-“Good food, fast and friendly “

Great staff with helpful vibes. Food is hot and out to you in no time. Food is fresh and prepared the same way every time. Stop in and enjoy.
