SurfDog Bites & Brews

I have noticed on my last few trips to NC that hot dog restaurants are a big thing here. This place was more than that. Simple but well done menu. The food was very good, and they even had a few good beers on tap. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here.

Great place for good food and a quick bite to eat. Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious. I had The Boxer and it was very tasty. Would definitely stop in again when in town.

Such a great place! We had a group of 10+ people, and the owner went out of his way to rearrange tables and make sure we could all fit and sit together. The food was amazing and pretty quick, and well priced! Plus, the employees were so incredibly nice and friendly! Can’t wait to go again!

Food was awesome! Service was great. I’m assuming the owner is the older gentleman, he was amazing. Cleaned off our tables and chairs before we could sit and arranged them so we could all fit. Saw him run after a family that walked out after seeing it was crowded and told them he would make room. Everything was clean and staff would regularly check to make sure we were satisfied.

We saw this place before they opened and didn’t get to try it last year. When we came back this year we were searching for places to eat and saw this place again and saw it had an awesome price and food that we love eating. The atmosphere and food was amazing! We went twice today and plan on going back everyday till we leave. My husband got the special of the day Cajun brown sugar maple glaze salmon and loved it and I got the chicken tenders. They are both fresh and delicious! You can tell the owner cares about the customers and the food. We just wish we would have found this place earlier in our trip and not wasted money at overpriced restaurants that didn’t have the quality that SurfDog has! Definitely worth the stop by! You will not regret it! We will recommend to anyone we see and be back each year! Thanks for delivering good quality food!
