HCK Hot Chicken

Our office got catering from this place, I called the day before and ab the owner was more than happy to take my order and got everything right. His interpersonal skills are outstanding. Definitely went above and beyond for us. Food was delicious, order was correct, definitely a pleasure ordering. Thank you!

UPDATED AGAIN: The owner Abraham was nice enough to comp a replacement meal and it was absolutely executed as I originally expected. The halal chicken was deliciously cooked to perfection The Carolina Reaper sauce is truly what is supposed to be so if you're not a professional great seeker, this isn't for you! It was absolutely fire with the crispy skin sauce to perfection so you got that sweet hot that Nashville hot chicken is known for. The tenders are also moist, and a healthy serving. The desert donuts with glaze are a must have to cool off the palate.

Abraham is an upstanding owner who cares dearly about his patrons and the quality of service and good put out at HCK. My original 1 star review is officially upgraded to 5 out of 5!

UPDATED: I received a personal follow up phone call less than 24 hours after from the owner. Abraham was very concerned about my experience and reiterated that the issue had been dealt with as it relates to quality and standards of HCK Hot Chicken. He has totally rectified the issue and there's a replacement meal in my future. This was the fastest, most professional response I've ever received from a flood establishment and it's more than appreciated. Kudos to HCK & Abraham!

Original: I ordered the 8 piece bone in with Carolina Reaper sauce on the chicken. I requested the chicken be cooked well done. It was a combo with fries. The fries were cooked perfect and seasoned. The chicken was raw. Out of the 8 piece I could safely eat 2 pieces. As a cook, you know the texture of fine chicken versus underdone. The fact I asked in the comment section of my grub hub order to cook the chicken well, maybe I upset the chef because I got a $16+ box of raw chicken. Red, purple and pink to the bone. The thin film covering raw chicken was still encased over the flesh. Evidence it wasn't fries long enough. The fat balls under the skin were still very much there, yellow and disgusting. More everywhere the chicken wasn't allowed to cook out. Now these aren't thin wingstop type wings. They are huge and need time to cook they ESPECIALLY when the order instructions specify cook well done😩Never again.

My son ordered the chicken tenders. Granted you only get 2 strips for the combo price, at least they were good, and cooked thru.

Staff was so inviting and helpful. The young lady Helena was so patient while going over the menu with me and my family. Food came out quick and piping hot and fresh. We ordered a few different things from the menu and everything was just delicious.

Clean atmosphere, friendly service, and phenomenal food at a locally-owned spot. The wings were excellent and fries were cooked just right. I couldn't skip the chicken sandwich either which was juicy and breaded jist right. I can't wait to return and try the chicken and waffles.

Made it back to try the Chicken & Waffles and they did not disappoint.

This was some of the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. I got the chicken sandwich combo and my little brother had the tender combo. The food was fresh and the chicken had a nice crunch, even after being sauced. The fries were also great. Everything was perfect. Management was friendly and personable as well. If you get a chance, definitely stop by here and try out the food.
