Excellent pizza. Great environment and service. Good for families. Appreciate the opportunity to donate to help relief hunger in ENC.
Pizza right size and filling. Appetizers also tasty. A little on $$ side but worth it.
I was recommended to this place and decided to try it out. It’s a small place and it’s a little bit of a tight fit. All the table are tall ones which weren’t that great because when I tried to cut my pizza the table shook everything. The pizza was good and is about the size of a regular medium pizza. The prices are high. Each vegetable topping is $2 and each meat topping is $3. That adds up fast. The other thing I didn’t like was there wasn’t a beer list. They only had 4 beers on tap. I asked for a sample of one and the sample came in a really small shot glass so I couldn’t really try the beer because it was one inch beer and 2 inches foam. They had bottled beer but they were all cheap domestics so I decided to not drink. If I go back it’s because the pizza is good but otherwise I didn’t really care for the place. I will say the service was good and no complaints there.
It wasn’t the greatest dining experience, to be honest. The service was upsetting. However, the owner sat down with me and took my frustrations beyond face value. Kudos to how well he handled it without just throwing discounts and coupons at the problem.
Five stars because the pizza was authentic and tasty. I may have to go back just for the pizza.
We had heard great things about Luna Pizza I and had high expectations. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed with our visit. Please don't get me wrong The staff was friendly we were seated promptly. The food was hot and unfortunately it lacked flavor. The center of our pizza was still very doughy and not much crust. The beer selection seems very limited considering there's a brewery sitting right next door. I was a little disappointed with a selections that they had offered. The manager seemed to be more interested in flirting with the girls in the bar instead of checking on the status of his restaurant during our visit as well. Maybe next time we'll have a better visit.
Awesome location, quaint, authentic, and original. Southern Hospitality and REAL food at it's finest. Richard has himself quite the spot here! My waiter Jonathan was also extremely professional and inviting. 6/5 - a must go!
