I usually eat here about once a week sometimes three times a week. Every time I eat there you know what you’re getting. Good food for a good price . Trisha is always helping out and in a good mood when I go into the winterville location. The whole crew works well together and always in and out quickly since I’m always in a hurry. Highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t .

Great fried chicken and pork bbq. Family meals give a good amount of food. Friendly and fast service.

Fast food barbecue spot. This isn't the elegant type place and doesn't bill itself as. The McD's of the NC barbecue world. And it's SPOT ON. Was looking forward to trying this place after having eaten (and managed) one of their competitors for years in a past life.

Not disappointed. Potato salad and slaw both sweet but not ridiculously so. Pork was Eastern NC barbecue the way it was intended - red pepper, salt and vinegar - a little bite but not over the top, some small bits of crunch in there (think burnt ends type crunchy meat) - not mushy marshmallow consistency like some places. The fried chicken was TOP NOTCH. Hot tasty.

The service was also excellent. People roaming the floor to make sure no one EVER went dry. Great great place. Will try their others. Of course, there IS room here in Clayton for another barbecue place I think...
