“This was my first visit to Dixie Queen Seafood Restaurant. Some friends took my Aunt & I and we had a wonderful time. The Shrimp & Stuffed Crabs, that I had, were especially good! In fact, every food we had not only looked good, but was good! This might have been my first visit, but Lord willing, it won't be my last. There are a bunch of choices of foods, regardless of your taste. I would suggest that you at least try it when you get the chance. They don't open till 4p.m. though. Am not sure how many days they are open. Enjoy!”

“Today was my first time in a Firehouse Sub. If memory serves me right, I had a medium Turkey Bacon Ranch for lunch. The sub was just great, tasted fresh. The personnel was friendly. Looking at the customers present today, many found their way to a good Sub place. Would definitely come here again. Shame I won't be in the area much longer.”

“The bathroom was extremely dirty. And I saw an employee go in and I know that she didn't wash her HANDS! I know this because I went in right after she did, and the sink was bone dry, and soap dispenser was laying on top of toilet, the dirty top of toilet. The entire bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks! Very bad, I landed up throwing away my drink. I didn't want to risk getting sick.”

“This is a great casual joint. The menu is short and sweet: smashed-down, juicy burgers with an assortment of toppings, and fried shrimp served a variety of ways, but you should get the shrimp po' boy. Sides are great, I love the french fries and tater tots. Drinks are generous, and the sweet tea hits the spot. The shakes are fantastic as well, try a concrete. The place itself is a bit worn, but has an old, highway pit stop diner feel. I take a star off because pretty consistently, my order gets messed up in some small way, like a wrong drink or something. The price is also a bit on the high side too. Lastly, depending on when you come in, they may not have all the fixings for the shakes or concretes. It's pretty close to a 5-star place though, so don't skip it if you want good, casual eats.”

“We celebrated my daughter's graduation from ECU with family on Saturday with a private buffet. Everything was ready at our reserved time. The food couldn't have been any better. Service was excellent! Staff was very attentive to our guests. I would say our dinner was perfect! I would recommend to anyone looking a private party setup. The Hersey Bar Cake and Strawberry Short Cake were great additions to the menu. Can't decide which meat was better. Fried Chicken, BBQ Chicken or Hamburger Steak in gravy. Awesome Food!”

“Went today (7/29/19) for lunch. I love the ordering process. The food was excellent. I got a French dip sandwich. The small is 7" which was plenty. I drink water with my meals and very much appreciated getting an adult sized cup instead of a tiny cup you have to refill 14x like some restaurants. Tremendous selection. The staff were fantastic. When we arrived, a guy came to explain the ordering process to my friend because she looked unsure of what to do. He was peppy and very personable. The same for the young lady who we gave our orders to. Super pleasant and I felt like she and the guy actually love their jobs which is awesome.”

“I really enjoy dining at CPW's, especially when Griffin is my server. He is the BEST! He always greets our table with such a warm and friendly smile. He knows the menu and the specials. Our drinks stay full. He checks on us. Not a stone goes unturned. Excellent service always!! The establishment should invest in some good forks. The forks were extremely light and felt like they would bend. I'm giving Griffin 5 stars! The 4 stars is because of the forks and our Pasta Paradise didn't have the nice hint of lemon that it normally does, nor did we find crab in our dishes.”

“Seasoning salt mixed is too heavy on the chicken tenders. I live nearby. The prices are a little high for fixed income or limited income. You can ask for a Senior Citizens discount. Tea is one of the best. It's conveniently located on 264 E going towards the Hospital. Between 4:30pm and 6:30pm M-F it's difficult to turn into the Zaxby's driveway. Please post signs DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAY.”
