Stopped in here because, being new to the area, we hadn't tried this place yet. We were so glad to have stopped. The place is quaint and the food was delicious. I decided on the special, a 14 oz. NY strip steak. We started out with corn fritters. We were really amazed that the corn fritters were different than we were used to, but in a good way. They were deep fried and laid in a sweet sauce. They weren't just cream corn fritters, and they were awesome. On one hand I was hoping that the entrees would be as good as the appetizers, but on the other hand, I thought ordering a steak may have been a bad idea, since I really love a good grilled steak. I was not disappointed. The steak was cooked to perfection and was delicious from end to end. My fiancé had the salmon and was also pleasantly delighted. We will be back. We love this new town of ours and all the places we've eaten at were very good so far. We look forward to trying more places and returning to places like this one.

I love this place. Only bummer about this trip was they ran out of the Strip steak. My wife got the last on. My shephard pie was good though. No REAL complaints from me. I'll be back for sure.

Cozy, comfortable spot with great food. Hint: Get the appetizer size shrimp-and-grits. With an added side or salad, it's the perfect dinner for a cold, rainy evening.

Loved it! Delicious food, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Went for Sunday brunch, and it wasn't very busy at all.

What a welcomed treat from the moment we walked in...the service is outstanding from start to finish ... the shrimp and grits appetizer to the soups, the goat cheese and spinach salad to the buttermilk chicken and pork chop entree's crowned off with a brownie sundae which we split ... Already planning our next visit !
