    One of my favorite places to eat. Meat and veggies daily. Along with the classic hot dogs, hamburgers and BBQ. Very clean facility. Friendly staff. A loaded self serve salad bar is a favorite. Highly recommend.

    OK food, high prices, bad service (unless you like it that way). Went right after the Salisbury Christmas parade. I hadn't been there in years. Food was OK; just had cheeseburger and fries. Real issues were the cost ($30 for 2 adults/1 child - burgers/fries) and the service. Waiters were not friendly. As a matter of fact, I had to go to the counter to ask for a to-go tray and to pay. They were not busy and all 3 waiters actually tried to avoid me. When I did finally get eye contact, I tried to smile and lighten the mood and she left me hangin'. LOL. Oh, well, I tried. I think this is why I stopped going the first time.

    Really good. Comfortable atmosphere. Old school, which is very tasty and a good value. Recommend!

    Classic NC barbecue joint serving it up Lexington style. Sandwiches are served with "dip" and vinegar slaw, the way God intended. We we're greeted warmly even though we got there thirty minutes before closing on a Sunday, "Y'all got plenty of time." Hushpuppies were fresh and came with pleasant conversation.

    We stopped in because of the history but will come back because of the nice folks and the NC BBQ perfection.
