Genny's Family Restaurant

Breakfast was quite good, so we went back for lunch. Rather disappointed with food the second time. Back porch over river had a great view. Waitress was friendly and efficient.

The food was home cooking comfort food. I especially recommend the pancakes for breakfast - big and fluffy and crisp around the edges. Just like grandma used to make. There is also a small souvenir store in-restaurant. It's Christian themed, as is the restaurant, so if that is your style then this is the perfect place for you. My only complaints were the waitress's attitude - clearly did not want to be here, and a little bit of a wait to get both service and food. If you don't mind waiting, then it's overall a good experience.

Me and my fiance stopped in for breakfast, the service was not good at all. It took forever for the food to come out, we didn't see the waitress but twice. The food was okay but their prices are ridiculous for no more than what they give you. The only great thing about this place is the view outback and the sound of the creek. They really need to work on their people skills and actually serve what they advertise fresh home cooked food!
