Riverwatch Bar & Grill

I honestly wasn't expecting very much out of this place. It seemed like it was just going to be a tourist trap. Was pleasantly surprised by the food and service! It's a bit pricey, but the portions are nice size and everything tasted delicious.

Stopped here while visiting on vacation. Standard burgers. They do have vegetarian options which was a pleasant surprise. The fries mushrooms were awesome!

The burgers were expensive! That aside, the food was fantastic. Our group was pretty hungry when we went. So I ordered us fried pickles, and a mozzarella cheese stick type of appetizer. Both were delicious. I'd argue that those are the best fried pickles I've ever eaten. We got a chocolate covered chocolate cake for my daughters. They demolished it. The sweet potatoe fries and the dipping sauce were good. I only gave 4 stars because hamburgers are very cheap to make and I think our burgers were over $13 a piece. But I will say that they are so big that you can easily share them. Which now I know! (But that's still $7 for half a burger). The appetizers were what you'd expect to pay for appetizers. I'd still recommend based on taste and customer service.

Riverwatch is a quaint bar and grill with incredible surroundings. Each time we've eaten there the food has been delicious. It's a tad overpriced but that's to be expected in a tourist type area. A fantastic array of various types of burgers and other normal bar and grill type foods. If passing through Chimney Rock area grab a seat on the deck and enjoy. Then take a walk down on the river ????
