    Seen this restaurant while driving through town very happy that I stopped there that was the best barbecue I've had in a long time. We had the brisket.

    I had the pork plate, very small portions, but nonetheless ok for $8.50. My husband on the other hand had the brisket plate...HORRIBLE! The brisket was NOTHING BUT FAT PIECES! No flavor. It was disgusting! Small portions also, not so great for $10.50! I'm from the South...NEVER seen brisket look like this! I'm gagging just thinking about it! Wouldn't recommend the brisket at all.

    The food was good, but the service made me consider my decision to eat there. I get that the owner's daughter is working for her dad, but customers should be as important as other work.
    Basically, they need to hire people that want to keep customers coming back.

    Great food. Great personal service. Brisket is out of this world, melts in your mouth.

    Great tasting barbecue. Yummy hush puppies. Portions are smaller than normal BBQ places but I am totally fine with that. Service was quick. Girl at counter was friendly. We need good BBQ in Locust so I hope they stick around.
