“My husband and I out the new place for dinner. It was quite busy, which was a good sign. The staff is all friendly and they were doing a great job with keeping up with the orders. We shared the Deep Fried Cove Roll and a combo meal of Teriyaki Steak and Shrimp with mixed vegetables and fried rice. We will definitely be making this a regular spot.”

“New owners who know how to make a great breakfast. We decided to stop in for breakfast today and were greeted warmly by the owners. I ordered French Toast & eggs and it was so good. My husband had eggs, sausage and pancakes and he really enjoyed it. This place is very homey and the owners are just so sweet and personable. If you want to eat good food, huge pancakes lol, with good people in a relaxed environment come here. It's an easy on and off of 52 and has a great view of Pilot Mountain.”

Always clean, well lit, good prices, good gas, great coffee including a Kureg with multiple choices for any hour of the day, private 1 room bathroom that's always clean and with Real Tree accents, very stylish and fitting for the country area. One of the biggest selections of drinks in the county. Propane, firewood, charcoal, and other necessities are available for your camping needs. Fishing bait, bobbers, and other asscessories for fishing. The Hunt's Pizza shop here makes ready to go slices available at the register and they also take orders and make excellent pizza. There are benches outside that are perfect to stop and enjoy a coke and hot slice of pizza, let your bikes cool, dry off from the local Dan River, or just to sit back and watch the back country scene. And don't let the look of the locals fool you, they are friendly and will help you with directions or even a flat tire!”

“I am very supportive of local businesses. They seem to be sorting out some details as a new business. When you walk in you will order at the window on the left. If you choose to start a tab they take your card and all you will have to do is tell the bartender your last name to get a drink. My burger and my friends burger was missing the advertised bacon on the BBQ burger. The french fries were excellent! They have ample TVs so you can watch your favorite game. A band was doing sound check and was too loud for that small of a space. I will definitely be going back and will update my rating if my experience supports an upgraded rating.”
