The Greystone Inn

I never write reviews (really) but this is deserving. We were so excited to visit a few weeks ago and even met a couple on our travels who said they wanted to spend their anniversary at The Greystone. “Must be a fantastic place,” we thought to ourselves. But alas, we caught COVID. I called the day we were scheduled to arrive with the news and I couldn’t have asked for better treatment. They said they were sorry our trip was interrupted and then didn’t charge us a penny.

I follow them on Instagram and truly can’t wait to finally visit this beautiful place and share my appreciation for their kindness and generosity in person. Thank you Greystone.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Greystone Inn and it was absolutely perfect. We rented out the entire Inn and our friends and family could not say enough nice things about the venue, staff and food. David, the event manager at Greystone, went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect and put my Type A mind at ease. He helped coordinate with local vendors and when our outdoor wedding had to be moved inside last minute due to 20 degree weather with 40+ MPH wind gusts, he and the staff pulled it together seemlessly. We couldn't be more pleased with how the weekend festivities went and are forever grateful to this amazing place for the wonderful memories.

Even if you aren't hosting your wedding here, Greystone is a wonderful place to visit. The scenery cannot be beat and staying here is like being in your own home, but elevated. The food is delicious and the bar makes a fabulous Old Fashioned. Ultimately, it's the staff that make this Inn one of the best. They will go to the ends of the Earth and back to make you feel welcome and at home. We will plan to go back as often as we can.

Beautiful location. Staff so friendly and helpful. Enjoyed working on puzzle, sitting by fire pit, and reading by the lake. Many more activities for relaxing. Resturant is wonderful. Third time there and hope to go back.

Great getaway. We have been coming here for many years. Highly recommend it! Very interesting history of Lake Toxaway and the surrounding area.

We had a last minute change in vacation plans, and are so happy we landed at the Greystone inn!
The staff was so friendly, the hotel was very clean, the views were unbelievable, and the beds were super comfortable. We cannot wait to return!
