The Blind Mule at Toxaway Station

Good, friendly service. Good food, nice atmosphere. Very enjoyable

Was my husbands and myselfs first visit to this restaurant with our lovely friends from FL. We have lived in this area all of our lives and just found out about this gem when our friends wanted to meet for dinner. So glad they chose this place, we would have never known. Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing service and a very talented and amazing cheff. Food was simply devine. Will be returning for sure. Perfect atmosphere to add with views of the beautiful Lake Toxaway.

We walked off the rainbow falls trail after dark and caught this place open. We called for the reservation from 5min up the road. We were dressed for hiking and caked in mud. We were totally blown away by the service and the food. One of the best dining experiences of our lives.

Excellent meals: Baked Trout and Pan Fried Salmon plus shared a Roasted Golden Beet salad for 2.
Great dessert to finish: Lemon curd with raspberries.
Will return to try other enticing menu items. While a remote setting beside Lake Toxaway, very cozy atmosphere including stone fireplace with tables spaced not too close together.

My husband and I enjoyed our entire experience at The Blind Mule. We arrived at sunset to the most charming scene. From the warm greeting to the wine recommendations to the view of the lake, it was most welcoming. We were even more surprised to learn that the chef/owner is a 4 Michelin star, European trained and educated chef!!! I wish that we lived nearby so that we could make this a weekly experience. The farm to table menu offered many choices and everything we ate was absolutely memorable. We will definitely return to this perfect restaurant!
