    We got carry out (Burrito Cancun, El Rey nachos and chicken quesadillas) and the food was amazing! Staff were super friendly. Everyone agreed the food was excellent (much much better than some of the large chains - plus supporting local business). We can’t wait to go back and try more of the food!!

    We LOVE Hacienda El Rey! The food is fresh and the portions are generous. The fresh guacamole is some of the best around. The service is outstanding and the staff is SUPER friendly. I am so glad they opened in Waxhaw. They are are a fantastic addition to the town! We can’t wait to go back

    So good! I have to avoid gluten and they were so knowledgeable. I always worry about cross contamination and they seemed very confident and made me feel safe eating. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We were able to eat outside too which was a huge bonus!

    Excellent evening out! Food was everything you've been "meming" about over the quarantine and more! Service was fantastic! Bianca and Nelly (one of the owners) truly made us feel at home, and there wasn't that "loud" atmosphere you often get at the restaurant down the road. We're definitely going back! PS- the Hacienda Burrito was extremely tasty!

    Excellent flavorful food. Our to-go lunch was delicious today. We enjoyed everything especially the fish tacos. Wonderful friendly staff. Can't wait to return!
