J&S New York Pizza Cary NC

I don't know about the pizza or other foods or if this was a one off so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

But if you do order the spaghetti there's no need to order soup because it literally comes in tomato soup.

Jalapeno poppers are good though and salad is average.

Service was decent though so I will not take away from that.

Perhaps their pizza is where their strength lies.

I will reevaluate once I go back for their pizza.

Very good portion sizes, diverse menu and quality pastas. Great for takeout when needing to satisfy lots of different tastes.

Formerly this location was a Ruckus pizza location and I am glad to see they preserved some of the best aspects of the previous tenants. Full bar with 16 beers on tap. Food I had was good but not quite enough to push me to a five but still good. Casual - have a kids menu. Could also pull off an informal business lunch here. Nice vibe overall.

Love this place! ❤️❤️❤️ Friendly people! Grab a fork, because the food is amazing. This is a fantastic place to kick back and watch the game while enjoying pizza, subs, calzones, and strombolis. The atmosphere is perfect for groups or individuals. There are many televisions that feature sports. Plenty of choices of beer on tap, wine, and liquor grace the bar.

When I was there I had the streak special hot sub combo, and chose fries as my side, and fresh brewed tea as my drink. The sub had a ton of succulent streak on it--so much that I had to eat it with a fork! The taste was amazing. The fries were perfectly salted, and the slightly crispy outside was a great texture. Although the ketchup came in a generic bottle, it was surprisingly good!

Had dinner just before closing and it was surprising. It reminded me of the New York pizzeria's back home. A good cappacola sandwich and a cold one was great
