The food here is outstanding as seen with the Korean BBQ that I had. The issue our party had was with service. It was taking 10-20 minutes to get drinks and our desserts after ordering. That said we had a party of 15. Smaller parties may not run into this issue. I will say it was a Monday evening and the place appeared to not be overly busy.

Turned up on their first night, quite serendipitously. Wife was out of town, I was in my way home from work very early, 5pm, driving West on I40 with the Harrison exit looming up, and I thought - let me chance a very early table at Ko An for their opening night. Drove up, scored a table, and really, wow! Great food. I had 4 small plates - hungry, had skipped lunch! - and each was super. Lots of kick, flavor, imagination. Great service (but it was the first night!) and by 6pm the place was packed. Ambience is great, they've keep the original An layout, so it did feel familiar. They were pretty slick for a first night, so I guess they have had good practice at their software opening nights. So happy they have opened in Cary. I'll be back with Jill, my wife, for a more formal test soon enough. Will keep everyone posted.

Gorgeous place! Fantastic concept! Beautiful menu! And the kitchen is out of this world, very clean and nicely kept. It's a pleasure working with you all!

So excited for this place to open. The concept is exciting. The food is excellent and the wait staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. Can't wait to eat here again.

Fancy place. Fancy food. Nice staff. Good service. The food was a bit weird for my taste though. The duck was tough and the pig ears weren't nearly as crispy as I was expecting.
