I always love coming here to see what I can find. They have a large selection of goods, from décor to groceries to kitchen items. And the bakery there is incredible! Every time I go, I have to get items from the bakery. You can tell that they are made fresh daily and have a wonderful taste that I have not found elsewhere! And they're priced reasonably too!
Good selection from mainly mainland China. The best part about Grand Asia is their bakery and buns/roast meat section. Things are reasonably priced but if you are looking for specifics from Japan, Korea or Hong Kong you may not be able to find it.
While you are there, be sure to grab a bubble tea! They are some of the most authentic bubble teas in the area and the milk tea is not made of the awful powder mix other places use.
Decent below average selection does not and can not compete with H Mart. Decent bakery/food court though selections are severely limited. Bottom line if you had the choice of H Mart or Grand Asia go H Mart unless you live extremely close, only then would it be feasible. Price wise everything seems to be marked up to a new level which in all honesty seems like most Asian markets that aren't chained based.
Social distancing and masks worn, felt safe. Great value and extensive variety.
A very nice place to shop for asian food varieties you typically won't find in your average grocery store. The produce looked very fresh while I was there. And the meat is extremely fresh l, especially the fish. The bakery at the front seemed especially popular though we didn't try it. We loved browsing the store, the spices and oils and chilies were of large variety and there was a decent selection of noodles and dumplings, buns and potstickers as well. Love that this place was organized and easy to navigate. Note that there is a little bit of a smell with places like this. Whenever there is fresh/nonpackaged meat and fish indoors there will be a bit of lingering aroma. It's not awful though and to be expected.
