“Turned up on their first night, quite serendipitously. Wife was out of town, I was in my way home from work very early, 5pm, driving West on I40 with the Harrison exit looming up, and I thought - let me chance a very early table at Ko An for their opening night. Drove up, scored a table, and really, wow! Great food. I had 4 small plates - hungry, had skipped lunch! - and each was super. Lots of kick, flavor, imagination. Great service (but it was the first night!) and by 6pm the place was packed. Ambience is great, they've keep the original An layout, so it did feel familiar. They were pretty slick for a first night, so I guess they have had good practice at their software opening nights. So happy they have opened in Cary. I'll be back with Jill, my wife, for a more formal test soon enough. Will keep everyone posted.”

“Very good food. The manager Jeff and a couple of waiters ALWAYS make us feel welcomed!! Unfortunately the prices have gone a little up, and no longer coupons for the cheese .Also the food quantity (i.e. rice) for instance, is less now, so we leave unsatisfied. But the food is still good and they are SO nice!”

“First time visit, very impressed. Great atmosphere for the kids, plenty of games to keep them busy for hours. Had a large group, wound up staying much longer than planned. Ordered dinner, although the portions were small the food was excellent! Surprised me. After it was over, we spent nearly 5 hours there, meal, games etc. was less than $200. Very budget friendly when ordering a package deal. Highly recommended, well worth the trip. Definitely plan on returning soon. Thank You to the staff for such a wonderful experience!”

“Just chose the No. 1 combo with extra pickles, but, as always, the food was good and accurate. I also tried the new Mac and cheese ... Also good. I don't generally like a lot of restaurants Mac concoctions unless it is a focused part of the menu. I always prefer my sandwich with extra pickles.”

“10/10 hands down would recommend! Fresh and delicious food, very friendly service! I visited the mall on my birthday to look at sales and came here for lunch. The kind and friendly woman taking my order helped me choose, and I got the spinach and feta hot wrap. It was made to order, so I got to chat with her for a few minutes while I was waiting and she was a delight. The food was so scrumptious! Fresh and hot sweet potato fries were perfect and the spinach and feta wrap was packed with flavor! I could taste dill in there bringing it all together. And they have homemade desserts that are so drool- worthy. Absolutely worth a visit!”

“Good food. Great service and entertaining live music. The house salad and balsamic vinaigrette was tasty and the extra hot wings were flavorful but not saucy enough. They put the hotter sauce on the bottom and there wasn't enough for all 12 wings but the flavor was there. I'd suggest putting the wings in a bowl and coat them with the sauce to really make them stand out.”

“I want to love this place - but unfortunately have been dissatisfied lately with the steak & chicken. Last few times we got steak and chicken there has been A LOT of fat. I recommend picking out the steak tips individually and avoiding the pre-packaged vacuumed packed marinated meat. I will say the staff are great. Always friendly and helpful.”

“This is my family's favorite place to go for pizza. It's not sopping in grease like other pizza places. It's flavorful as well, especially if you get the cajun or butter crusts. It's also super affordable and doesn't taste like reheated cardboard, which is what I find a lot of pizzas from other places tend to taste like. Make sure to check online for coupons, plus sometimes they send them in the mail. Delicious pizza full of flavor, would recommend over Dominoes, Pizza Hut, and Papa Johns for sure. The only other pizza I had that was better was from Mellow Mushroom. You're missing out if you don't give it a try!”

“I did like the vibe of the place. Food flavors(meats and sides) were also good. Staff was also very friendly. I wanted to try the specific meat flavors so I ordered a 3 meat platter with two sides. For $19 the portions were way too small. I did see some sandwiches come from the kitchen and they looked very nice. Maybe will go that way if there is a next time. Again, good taste, not outstanding especially for cost. Over $50 for the two of us for meats and two sides.”

“I see a lot of negative feedback here, and other people's experiences are valid, but I had a very good experience myself. The food I ordered was tasty, and priced about what I expected. The woman behind the counter did yell at me as I walked by to try the samples, but I've had a very similar experience at every Japanese Food Court place. I don't honestly know what I sampled, but it was pretty good, so I ordered it. I'd removed one star for the pushiness and because it was good food and not great food. If I eat in that food court again, I will probably eat there again.”
