(May 21, 2019, 12:51 am)Staff was great. They really help.us.fine the best meal to satisfy everyone in out party without having to order a lot of food. Since my elderly uncle was visiting from fl with his girl friend. They really wanted to try everything.

(May 20, 2019, 6:21 pm)I stopped in here for some takeout on a Sunday evening. As always, the staff is super-friendly and helpful. The fried chicken is always great. The hush puppies were perfect, even after taking them back home. Smithfield's is always a very solid place to get some chicken or BBQ. I highly-recommend this one.

(April 29, 2019, 8:28 pm)Our first visit to this restaurant was on 04/21/19 the staff was super friendly, especially the young lady that waited on us I wish I have gotten her name.
We had fried chicken as well as their bbq chicken, fries, hush puppies, & Brunswick stew. The fried chicken & fries were good. But the hush puppies, & brunswick stew was amazing.
THE BBQ CHICKEN WAS NOT GOOD!!
THE BBQ SAUCE WAS REALLY WATERY AND DIDN'T TASTE GOOD AT ALL! THE BBQ SAUCE TASTED LIKE IT WAS MAKE FROM HOT SAUCE! YUCK!!
I WILL EAT THERE AGAIN BUT I WILL NOT GET THERE BBQ CHICKEN EVER! -

(March 27, 2019, 6:26 pm)Busy at lunch, but quick service. Had a line but took only a minute or two, a few moments after sitting down my food was ready. Hot, tasted good, really good portions for the price.
