Homegrown Pizza

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path so you have to know where to look for it . We were there just after they opened for the on a Sunday afternoon. Service was prompt and the food was very good. We will go there again.

We walked in on a Tuesday evening right around 6 pm. The dining room was only about a quarter fall but service was very slow. They also had the local news playing over the sound system but was not showing on any of the TVs. The overall experience was mediocre at best.

Regarding their food, it did come out quickly, and their pizza was fairly good. There go is very good and they had lots of cheese applied (which I personally enjoy), however either their sauce was little on the bland side or they just did not apply enough.

Really good pizza, the rest of the menu is just ok. I like the hometown atmosphere and how they support the local teenagers, giving them jobs. This is a pizza place like you grew up with. Not a chain, which we have way to many of around here. GO SUPPORT LOCAL.

Home Grown is a comfortable, casual, relaxed, pizza/bar food pub. The interior is well used & looks it but it doesn’t really take away from much. Ok pizza & wings, great fries & root beer float, good for kids of any age. Really nice staff. They went out of their way to make my dairy free daughter feel safe eating there.
