Niche Wine Lounge

What a gem! We live 15 minutes away and hadn't visited this cozy wine bar until now. We felt so lucky to be there on this random Tuesday, happening upon an open mic night with the place decked out in festive Halloween decorations. Everyone there seemed very at home and every person was treated with kindness and respect. The bartender Anthony was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere was intimate and unpretentious and it's the kind of place we'll definitely want to go back to again and again.

No Photos because we did not stay. It’s decorated great for Halloween, just takes forever to get help. Our first time there was great, as it was not very crowded. Hope he gets some help cause we enjoyed hearing about the different wines offered last time. We’ll go back, we will just pick and choose the times in which we do so that we get adequate service.

I've missed this place during the pandemic. Anthony is always very knowledgeable and selects a great wine for us based on our preferences. And he has great stories to boot!! One of my favorite places in the triangle.

What a nice little place. Cool nooks and crannies like a good Niche place should have. Once you enter, feel like you are in a different world. I loved the vibe.

The bartender (Anthony) is superior. Really, really excellent. Explained the flight of rose I ordered, but he is also no-nonsense. Lets your senses do the decision making. Provides good information to help make choices.

PS: Decided to take a respite from drinking and if Mr. Anthony’s service and the Niche wine bar will be among my last memories of the booze…those will be good ones indeed. Salute. 🤛🏽💗

My husband and I love to go to this local gem of a wine bar. They often have live music, various drink specials and/or a food truck. The wine and beer selection is extensive - to some, perhaps it is overwhelming. However, Niche’s bartenders are very knowledgeable and have a gift for matching your drink desires to something in their vast collection. I find this to be a personable and unique touch you don’t find too often. I enjoy expanding my horizons by being introduced to wines and beers I might not normally pick for myself from a menu, but ultimately really enjoy. We especially enjoy one of their bartenders, Anthony, who really knows his stuff and has a dry sense of humor that keeps us coming back. The decor is fascinating and truly an experience in October and December when they go all-out for the holidays.

Niche Wine Lounge is a small, comfortable wine club that offers a broad collection of drink options, great music, and an ambiance you can feel at home in, if you give it a chance.
