Food and service were excellent. Our server Josh recommended the Maui steak med rare which was delicious. After our meal we strolled over to the bar with outdoor seating where Kylie made us a couple of Martinis. Will definitely be back next time we're near Raleigh.

Every time I come here I have a great experience. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and attentive. It was so nice of them to give me complimentary champagne for my 10 year work anniversary! I love outstanding service anI thanked the manager for his awesome staff. d I love the food! Everything was hot and accurately prepared as I ordered it. Definitely makes me want to keep coming back!

I really enjoyed eating inside the intimate J. Alexander’s Restaurant. I had scheduled an reservation and when I came in , they had the table ready for us to sit. Our waitress was amazing and gave great advice for a first timer to when the second time I came, I ordered take out the same dish! Amazing...Simply Amazing food and service!

Now this is a great place to take your office staff for some out of the office team building or your business partners... if you want them to think you have class and sophistication. I would even come here to enjoy a drink to wind down on a Friday after a long work week. Why?! because the service and ambiance is on point!

From word of mouth I expected more....maybe my expectations of the food were too high? The food was good but not noteworthy. The service was very good, staff was attentive and friendly. Good atmosphere and decor. The extra star is for portion sizes they were good.
