Very good, very good. The inside is nice and low light and cool, old dark wood tables and hardwood floor. A little Irish decor on the walls (coats of arms?) and low but audible music. Outside seating area looked nice.
Large, diverse menu which always kinda worries me (I'm looking at you, cheesecake factory) but Piper's seems to do it right! I'm not much of a fish guy, but I done traded one of my ribs for half of one of my date's fish from her fish and chips plate. The ribs were good too, very very meaty and tender, really tasty sauce. Cole slaw was bland with runny mayo. Mac and cheese was pretty good, but they should try their hand at baked mac.
Drinks are a bit pricey, and there's surprisingly few Irish beers.
Best steak and cheese sub that I believe I've ever had! Service was a bit slow, but otherwise great. Love the outdoor patio
Great service. The food is quality and the waiters check in on you regularly. They do not judge if you get trashy. It's okay though because a lot of Wake County teachers come here and they need it.
One of the best in the area! Come often enough & you end up becoming family. All the staff is helpful & kind. Get the Chicken Parmesan, although all of the food is solid!
Brunch is affordable and absolutely delicious.
Just go!
Very good selection of food, but on top of the buffet they have a friendly omelet station guy. He will take your order and bring your omelet to you at the table!
Being from Maryland, I had to have the cheese grits and biscuits w gravy since I cannot get them here.
Atmosphere was cozy and laid back and extremely nice service staff. Next time I am visiting family in Raleigh I am sure we will go back.
