Avent Ferry Pizza

I can’t say enough great things about this place. We were in town for a cheer competition and wanted some pizza found this place and decided to go. Everyone was very friendly and who I assume was the owner went above and beyond. We ordered a white pizza and added bacon, a cheese pizza for the kids and the grandmas pizza. The pizzas were A LOT bigger than we imagined and tasted perfect. Do not leave without ordering the cinnamon rolls. We will be back in March for the next cheer comp.

Great addition to the NCSU/Avent Ferry & Gorman area. We ordered and were delivered a piping hot Margarita that did not disappoint. The cheese and veggies were definitely fresh. The crust is not half bad. Bonus, they have their own delivery, you don't have to go through any app, which I appreciate as a consumer & I think ultimately helps the restaurant. Hat tip to the pleasant folks on the phone & delivery. I look forward to trying more of their menu now that I know there is a new pizza joint in the area

I have got to say this is the best pizza pie place in the Raleigh area! I’m from the Bronx and this pizza makes the pizza in NY taste like garbage. The two guys who run this place know how to cook a quality pie. The sauce of the Grandmas pizza was literally some of the best sauce that has ever entered my mouth. Had a perfect sweet and tang to it. Perfect. The crust is also done to perfection. Anyone who leaves less than a 5 star review on this place doesn’t know quality pie. Very impressed for a NC pie joint

Want to add another star! My husband and were in the area looking for a house to buy and found this place (thanks google) and took a chance. That was on Friday. We returned to Carrboro and today - Sunday - we are returning to get more food from these amazing people. It's worth driving from anywhere in the Triangle! Best I have had in years. We are concentrating on the area now for our new home, but wherever we land we will be regulars at Avent Ferry Pizza.

It tastes fine and is convenient to get to, but everything was under-done. I wish they had cooked the pizza longer so the cheese was brown and bubbly not just melted. The cinnamon roll was raw and doughy in the middle.
