Second time having the privilege of dining at C&S. Did not disappoint! Flavors were complex, yet all worked together. Pre-Dinner drinks wonderful (Riley's Grave ????). Service was personal and attentive. Food was so perfectly done. My only complaint, if there is one, is the seating can be cramped, and not as private as I would like. Restaurant is somewhat on the small side. I'm old school, so to some that won't matter at all. So fortunate to have such culinary talent in Raleigh! Make a reservation early, and go for the food!!
This restaurant has a limited menu and the place was small, but the food was delicious. Everything was so refreshing on a very hot day. My cold tomato soup was the best I’d ever tasted and the heirloom salad melted in my mouth. All ingredients were very fresh in this farm to table restaurant. My peaches and cream dessert was a work of art and so yummy. Reservations a must.
The restaurant has a cool vibe, the decor is on the darker side and the environment is appropriately lit. Staff is courteous and service is fast. I sat at the bar and asked the bartender to help me pick the food. He was really nice and gave me solid recommendations. What an amazing dining experience.i was in Raleigh for only one night and Crawford and sons blew me off me feet.

If you haven't been here, you are missing out on some of the best food in Raleigh. If you just made dinner reservations, congrats and I'm jealous. The food is incredible, innovative, delicious, and beautiful. The menu will make you step outside of your comfort zone just a bit and you will be so glad you did. Atmosphere is dark, cool, and trendy. It's like you've been let into the best kept secret.
