Cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers. Really nothing but good experiences here. Bring your hunger - portions are generous. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.
This is my third time eating at j betski's and I've never been disappointed. The food in the service are exceptional. And I have a wonderful selection of European beers.
Figlmueller's is a restaurant established in Vienna over 100 years ago that specializes in pork schnitzel. The schnitzel at J Betski's is superior to the Vienna restaurant. The veal is thicker, juicier and tastier. I ordered the cabbage and kielbasa soup while my wife and I both ordered pork schnitzel. The soup was delicious - had just enough spices so that it wasn't overwhelming. The schnitzel, as always, was terrific. We shared an apple strudel for dessert and it was OK and probably wouldn't order it again. Leah, our server, was pleasant and efficient. The restaurant is small and tables are placed close together. This works fine as long as those around you are courteous and keep their conversations on the quiet side.
Everything we had was great! Always recommend the kielbasa and pierogies. Gotta have that house bread and house whipped butter! We had the special features tonight; a duck app and a braised pork shank entree. Both excellent! Service was attentive.
Went to J Betski's for lunch with a friend I had not seen in a while. We arrived at 1:30pm and were served promptly by a terrific server. Our food was delicious! My only complaint was around 3:00pm the wait staff impatiently asked us to leave because they needed to prepare for the dinner crowd. We both felt as if we had put them out. We certainly would have hurried if we'd known. I wish they had mentioned it when we arrived.
