Jerk Masters

I love this place and everytime I go I look for one particular person as she always remembers me from when I was pregnant working at the prison. She always ask about the family and I always bring family here when they are visiting from NY. This food is the most authentic I have experienced since coming from NY. Great size food portions and great Customer Service!

Jerk chicken is the best I've ever had. I love the mac and cheese with curry gravy on it. The way they prepare plantains is not my favorite but overall, the food is very good.

Nice little restaurant off New Bern Ave, brightly decorated, gives you a Caribbean feel. Seems as though the business is pretty steady, the lines can get lengthy. I ordered take out and so did my son. The prices are good for the amount of food you get. I got a small oxtail plate with rice/peas and cabbage. Everything was delicious, the oxtails could’ve had a little more flavoring, but overall was pretty good. My son got the curry chicken plate and unfortunately it was not the best choice, most of the chicken was dry as well as the rice. The cabbage was great!
