sushi and service here is excellent. Great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. The place has a nice feel to it.
Wow!!! Coming from NY, I would never expect to have an Omakase experience like the one we did at Sono Sushi. I’ll start with the Chef who was very friendly and extremely talented. He cut every piece of sushi perfectly, which many sushi chefs don’t know how to do. Every piece of fish was super fresh, delicious and presented beautifully. Additionally, the sushi rice was seasoned perfectly. And lastly our server, who was very friendly and helped make the experience a great one. If you are looking for a real authentic sushi experience then try this place!! We will be back!
The bar tender was very intelligent and gave me an idea that could make me billions. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and I didn't have to take a long time making a decision on what to have. She offered a free sample to help me decide. Excellent service. I highly recommend this place. Right next to news channel 11 so I felt very safe and was welcomed. This is a five star place. Thanks
No one at my table had any complaints. Went on a Friday night while at an anime con nearby. Was busy, but our server was on point! I would still advise getting a reservation as that always helps. We didn't have one, but seemed to time it right for a table. Will for sure be going back!
I was here recently while visiting my son and I am so glad it was recommended to us! Sono was only a block or two from our hotel, so it was a great location. We only had to wait at most 15 minutes on a Saturday night. I got the volcano sushi and it was so rich and delicious! My son got a chicken and pork ramen bowl which was delicious as well. The only down side was that I thought it was pretty noisy which might be because it is a fairly small restaurant, but the food is worth it!
