I was pleasantly surprised! The food is good! I buy lunch several times a month. Good food!
Best spicy chicken sandwich around. Everything here is delicious. Larry's beans coffee too.
Opens earlier than the museum so you have a place to sit and drink coffee or tea in the warmth if it's cold outside and you get to the museum too early. It is connected directly to the museum of science, so you won't have to go back out in the cold(if it's cold). The chai latte is freaking delicious!
Excellent food my mouth is too full to talk. One of the best little surprises around. It's right in the heart of downtown Raleigh. After you order everything is self service. This place sells real food real quick. Not the typical gimmicky things that you will find at a restaurant inside a museum.
I love this place. There are some fantastic restaurants downtown near the museum, but my son and I love that this place is right there in the building. The food is delicious. Every child's meal and adult meal we have ordered here has been very good. It is on the level of any of the restaurants around the museum in downtown Raleigh. It's so much better than you would expect from just a simple little cafe. They also have a counter where you can just go in and get a cup of coffee. That might also carry some local beers, but I'm not a hundred percent certain of that.
Yes, it can be a little pricey, but I'm happy to support the museum.
