Virgil's Original Taqueria

Saw this restaurant on a "best tacos in NC" article and had to go test them out. Well worth the drive and definitely adding it as a stop on road trips that take us through the capital.

Tasty tacos! Great variety of choices and the dips are especially delightful as well! I'd recommend the guacamole particularly. The plantains are a great addition to the tacos as well. The only reason I knock a star off the overall rating is due to pricey nature of the menu. I would certainly recommend this spot!

Excellent experience. A number of different taco flavors like choriqueso, shrimp, chicken, and spicy varieties. The tacos overflow with meat and literally fall apart, and you have to finish them with a fork. It's really good!
There are some good cocktails, but they are overpriced for what you get. That part wasn't so impressive. But the service was great! Adam introduced himself. He made helpful suggestions, was quick, and was very friendly. Virgil's is a good time :)
