“I was REALLY surprised at how much I enjoyed this meal. I was like... hot dogs?? That's been done a trillion times; can't be that good. Except it WAS. It really, really was that good. I had the Southwestern and I enjoyed every bite. The pizza bread is unique and amazing. It's so soft and easy to eat, yet sturdy enough that you lose none of the dog or toppings, and have no drippy mess. I loved my meal and can't wait to eat there. So that's MY review. My boyfriend, however, was not so lucky. He is severely lactose intolerant. He asked TWICE if the food had any dairy in it, and both times was told no. He spent the entire weekend violently ill after eating there. He called back yet again today to ask the question again, and once again was told no - no dairy in their food. He pressed them again, and was placed on hold. They then come back and say YES, there's dairy in the bread. Look, I'm rooting for these guys. The food is freaking delicious. They have some room for improvement, and I believe they'll get it done. A couple of suggestions: 1. Disclose ingredients, and do so accurately. Food allergies are very real, and very serious. You're serving a vegan dog on non-vegan bread, guys. Come on. If it has dairy, it's not vegan. If it has dairy, people who have a dairy allergy can be severely harmed. Someone I love was extremely sick, and that should never have happened. You're exposing yourselves to awful liability and actively harming your business. Not only can you seriously harm someone, but you could lose your hard work due to a rightful lawsuit. 2. Provide condiments. Some of us like our dawgs a little saucier, and we're dealing with a lot of bread here. I wish them all the best. Our neck of the woods sorely needs new place to grab a bite, and I'm super excited about this one!”

“I used to come here when it was Chottes. I came to the new restaurant and it was good. Same type of Indian food but with more options at a slightly cheaper price. You now get an option of soup, entree, and dessert. The staff was super friendly. You now have an option for pizza . I wish the curry was spicier.”

The food was hot and fresh. As for the previous review the rice is SUPPOSE to be sticky/mushy so that you can pick it up with chopsticks. “I love the food here and really want it to succeed so I’m hoping the owner sees this and takes some advice. The food, menu, specials are all perfect. But the ambiance kills it. It’s like it can’t figure out what it wants to be. Is it casual dining where you want people to stay a while? Is it designed more for take out? Friday night at dinner time tv’s not on and no music playing combined with hard silver chairs that looks like patio furniture doesn’t make me want to stop and stay a while. But there’s so much room inside that making it take-out only seems to be a waste. The other thing I would recommend is adding “Indian food” to your outdoor sign on the building because no one driving by will know what “Chhote’s” is. And it’s already in a bad location so you need to do what you can to draw folks in! So for readers looking for a place to eat, love this food, but this is not a “date night” spot til they get the inside in better shape.”
