Anvil's Cheesesteaks

Best cheesesteaks around. They know that cheesesteaks don't come with lettuce, tomato, or onion... That's a hoagie, and they have those too.

They changed their bread, they suck now. Will not be back. It's a shame too, cause this place was awesome.

They've changed their bread again... I'm happy to report that it is a lot better. Not as good as the original but way better than what they had.

Stopped in shortly after 1pm today, ordering was fast and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was served fast (outside)and was piping hot. Great cheesesteak for a more than fair price, do your tastebuds a favor.

One of the best Philly's I've ever had! Service is excellent, staff is always friendly and quick, music choice in the store is always awesome. Lots of seating, comfortable clean tables. Don't sleep on this cheese steak shop, haven't tried a sandwich varient yet that I didn't love! Great veggie options as well! Something great for everyone!

We got 2 cheese stakes one chicken sub and a grilled cheese it was good we went before they closed so I don't think they put enough cheese on the sub but I will go back. Sorry forgot to take pics.... Also bread was pretty good for North Carolina.

Really good cheese steaks. Chopped beef the way it's supposed to be. The sandwich bread/rolls is not to my liking however; a bit dry, but the quality of the cheese steak makes up for it. Zero atmosphere, pretty high prices, but you'll get your fix at Anvil's.
