I went here based off a recommendation being that I am from New Jersey with my wife. The food quality was amazing and the portions were gigantic compared to what you paid for. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The staff actually comes back to check on you to see if you need anything else. The atmosphere has a very “home like” feel to it and a warm welcoming feeling when you walk in. It was nice to be greeted when we walked in the door. The food was prepared quickly as well. The food reminded me of a “genuine home cooked meal that momma made with love”, not the commercial feel of fast food or corporate chain restaurants. The bathroom was very clean. You can truly tell that the staff care about their jobs and customers as well as the owner of the restaurant cares about the condition of his restaurant. I would give more stars if I could.

Finally had the opportunity to check this place out and was very pleased.
After tasting the pimento cheese, I ordered the following for takeout:

**16oz container of pimento cheese -
(Soooo Good! One of the best tasting I have ever had!)
** small container of pasta salad -
(Wish I had sampled this too because
I would have ordered 16oz of this as well!)
** shrimp tacos -
(not hot or spicy at all, which I greatly appreciated)
I added sour cream, lettuce, tomato, onions and cilantro
(I should have gotten a couple slices of lime)
**sweet potato fries -
(nice flavor, not too salty like others I have had elsewhere)
**chocolate milk shake for my son
(He enjoyed it and said he would order again)

I enjoyed everything, fairly priced, would order everything I got again!
In fact, will be calling ahead for more of that pasta salad again soon!

Next time I also want to try the chicken salad.

I am one satisfied customer who will definitely be back for more!

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, fast service, and wonderful food. What more could you want? The food here was so good I came back the next day and ordered the same thing! I have a lot of food sensitivities and the staff was friendly and answered all my special questions about how the food was made. Their menu is varied and you can get everything from a salad and burger to shrimp tacos or brisket. And you must try the deserts that are made fresh. The banana pudding was so good it put my grandmas to shame. I ordered the hamburger steak with rice and cabbage and everything was seasoned well. Some places just dump salt on the food when it is done but you could tell each item on the dish was individually prepared and seasoned. I will certainly be going back and this is now my go to spot for a quick lunch.

Excellent home cooked food! Friendly staff. This was our first eating here. I got the cheese steak sandwich with jalapeno pimento cheese (cheese is home made) and it tasted great! Had some onion straws which are made from red onions and dipped them in the home made ranch dressing, also delicious! Highly recommended this restaurant!
