Pie-Zano's Pizzeria

My husband and I went to Pie Zanos with an Italian friend. The owner greeted us in a very polite way. All staff members over there were very friendly and polite. The food was delicious and tasty. Since that time we frequent this Italian restaurant. The most that I liked was the calzone, bread and the salad!

I haven't had anything here other than the pizza and that is worth the 5 stars all by itself. The pizza is authentic NY style and the flavors are superb. Everytime I've been in, the staff has been friendly and responsive.

There are a couple of small drawbacks though. First, the restaurant is kind of small and it gets pretty busy on weekends so you can also get that authentic NY cramped feel. Also the size to cost ratio for their to-go fountain drinks is not worth it. Just stop by one of the gas stations on the main road for a better value.

Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough for an authentic NY style pizza.

Being from NYC This hits home for me and my family best pizza so far I have had in NC. As a very experienced Chef I can say it’s hard to find good food in Raleigh and I’m glad I live 3 mins away from this pizzeria. Good job!!

My local pizza place. I enjoy the pizza very much. I usually go there three times a month. What's nice is I can walk there from my home. I love shopping in my neighborhood.
