BBQ pork platter was excellent. Excellent table service. Only disappointment was that two of the craft beers in their list were unavailable. They should cross them out or tell you before one studies the list carefully choosing a beer. Denied, denied, third choice?

Food was great and service was good if a little slow. Food came very quickly but after that the service dropped off a bit. To be expected maybe on a rainy Friday night as it got busier. Tried a couple of beers and both were good. Smoked potato salad was outstanding. This was our first time at Brew N Que but we will definitely be back.

The last time I was there I wrote the review below.
    # # # Great food. Limited seating but good service. Great pork BBQ. Collards ok...but I will not get them again. Cornbread very good.

BUT I went back for lunch today.
    A. The lunch platter portion of chopped BBQ was less than a single ice cream scoop.
    B. The BBQ had absolutely no taste.
    C. The cornbread was so cold "honey butter" did not melt when spread on it.
    D. The "Blue Cheese Slaw" tasted more of mayo than blue cheese..

It will be a while before I go back.

Visited on a slow Monday night. Only one server but he was excellent and I was impressed with his ability to take care of everyone in the restaurant. I had three meats: chicken was the best, pork second. Texas Brisket was an insult to actual Texas Brisket. Any restaurant in Austin that had brisket that tough would be laughed out of business quickly. In Lockhart? Excommunication is probably on the table. Brisket is easy so the result is curious. Fat side up at 225 until a probe is easily inserted between flat and point. Beer was great, worth a visit here; skip the brisket.
