Doherty's Irish Pub & Restaurant

Not perfect, but pretty close.

From what I could tell all the food was made fresh. Nothing frozen. Everything was really good. Beer as well. Service was a bit slow, but server was friendly.

Would definitely return to Doherty's.

First visit and we were not disappointed. Fish and chips were very good. Fish was flakey and very tender. Chips were also very good but a less traditional American style fry not the thicker Brit fare ( not necessarily a bad thing if it suits your taste). My lunch mate had the Sheppard's pie and was more than happy with it's flavor, texture, and seasoning. Nice selection of beers and wines. Accommodates outdoor, sports bar, and dining facilities. Certainly worth the visit.

The food was fresh and hot. Service was great. The brisket sandwich was cooked just right along with the fries, which were seasoned perfectly. The omelette was cooked to order and was perfect, topped with green onions and tomatoes. It was served.qith a fruit cup, which was fresh fruit

Fantastic food! We will certainly be back. The bangers and mash were amazing and my wife said the fish and chips were the best she has had in years! The staff was all friendly and you could tell there were a lot of regulars. Poker tournament going on while we were there was fun to watch. Outdoor seating highly recommend, but I think all of the seating would be great.

We came here to meet a colleague, who recommended it. It is kind of hard to notice from the main road in Apex, but definitely try it. We ordered the Irish egg roll appetizer. It was essentially a Reuben fried egg roll, and it was amazing. Came with a custom thousand island style dipping sauce. 10/10, will eat there again. Great job!
