The Town Tavern

Only the best bar in Blowing Rock. Love the lunch deals especially on Friday when I can get a basket of oysters for only 8 bucks. The Philly cheesesteaks are to-die-for they melt in your mouth not to mention the French dip one of the best I've ever had. Now that the weather is warmer it is such a pleasure to sit outside on the patio and on the weekends there is free music only my favorite place to go and yours too give it a try!

Good food. Service is flaky. Lots of open tables and a 20 min wait? Reason, kitchen gets backed up? Could be more helpful/knowledge about beer...and have better beer.

Great homemade Buffalo chicken dip. Decent beer selection. Our party of 8 all enjoyed their meal. Service was good. Weather was amazing.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Had the Buffalo chicken strips with their fries, was tasty and fresh. Their mozzarella strips where amazing and tasted fresh and homemade. Great place to check out if you're in blowing rock.

Had to wait an hour to be seated when we were told 20 min. This was due to a basketball on TV and no one wanted to leave and miss the game. Once we were seated things were better. Good service, delicious drinks and food. Took a little longer than we wanted to wrap things up because the time between waitress visits was long, but overall not a bad place.
