Cafe Portofino

What a fantastic place to come hang out, great environment, even better service, and absolutely delicious drinks!! Was disappointed that they ran out of pizza dough on the night that it was half off, but the drinks made up for it! Staff was friendly and hung out some too, a great place for anyone to come hang out. The moscow muel was a phenomenal drink also, would recommend that.

I first came Cafe Portofio’s in 2015 with my Dad. I’ve come back many times because I love the food and the drinks. I came up today with my husband to hang out in the game lounge and grab dinner. Taylor served us and she was particularly phenomenal. She greeted us warmly and checked on us many times and in appropriate intervals. She stuck around long enough to make sure we had a chance to ask for anything that didn’t come to mind right away, and answered any outstanding questions about the food and drinks menu promptly. Thank you Taylor; we really enjoyed your service. These five stars are for you!

Great casual Italian restaurant in the heart of Boone. They do an excellent job combing a country mountain town feel with an Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing and the separate area for the bar keeps it quieter in the dining area so it isn't impossible to hear when busy. The service is very attentive and quick, and the garlic knots are my favorite appetizer!

Excellent food! The wontons were so good!! Our pasta great. Would have preferred garlic bread with pasta but still very good.
