“It was good, we went to Empy's about 2 weeks ago. Tea was real southern sweet tea, my husband had BBQ plate it was good, I had hamburger steak wasn't bad but good. The dirty rice was NOT good, just plain rice with hot sausage in it. For the price it wasn't bad. I'm just happy it's something other than fast food. The service was good. Definitely kept our drinks filled. For Mt Olive it's a good inexpensive family restaurant. I would go again.”

“Great service and hot Pizza. I read reviews, not from area. I was very impressed with service and food. Will return. Well, I wanted to see if the service was still good because my husband and I reheated pizza from here for two days and I was still impressed. We ventured on our Sunday morning ride out to Goldsboro (Krispy Kreme ) and thought why not Papa John's again? The young lady answered phone and greeted us politely. We were first customer. “The food tastes good and I've never gotten sick, but, you know how you feel iffy when food arrives too quickly? That's this place. I've always noticed my meal arrives way too quickly IMO, especially since they say on their menus "Fresh Food Prepared Daily"... Case in point, today I decided to actually time my experience from walking in the door to receiving my food. Took 10 seconds to be seated, that's good, no wait time. 18 seconds from sitting down to get a drink order in, again good. One minute later receive drink. One minute later to look over menu and place order, so far so good. I ordered the Texas Taco Salad, that's going to have steak, chicken, and shrimp in it. It took less than four minutes from placing the order with my waitress to it arriving at the table with a piping hot plate. There's efficiency, yes, but this screams to me that even if they do cook everything in house daily, they must make it all first thing in the morning, scoop it out as needed and heat it back up. I don't see any way for a taco salad to be made in such a short period of time otherwise. On the plus side, it's way faster that most fast food places.”
