Uniquely R’s and The Gladstone

This is a very unique place to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and to enjoy really good food. The gift shop also has some really nice and very unique gift items. It is hard to find locally owned shops that offer something different than the items you will find in chain stores. This place is worth a drive for a day trip! The food is good, the atmosphere is relaxing and pretty.

What a wonderful atmosphere and staff were such a great help. Will continue our visits. Keep up the good work for downtown Goldsboro it's places like yours that are the glue that holds it all together. Thank u again for such a wonderful experience

Such a beautiful place. Step back into the Gladstone and you step back in time. Loose leaf tea, French press coffee, unique gifts. What more could you want?

This is one of my MOST favorite places to shop! My daughter loves mommy and daughter dates in the Gladstone café in the back of the store. We sip tea and eat the most delicious deserts. Makes my daughter feel like a real life princess.

Unique in every sense of the word and then some, Uniquely R's lives up to its name. For such a small space there is a lot to take in from the decor to the wares on sell down to the history behind the building which the owner's will gladly tell you all about if you have the time.

And that's just one part of it, i could write a whole separate review of the back end of the shop known as the Gladstone where tea and coffee are are served. The back room is a whole different atmosphere and what really sold me on the place. If you stop in you cant leave without trying one of the unique blends of tea on sale in the front. I say this as some who before visiting never really enjoyed hot tea before it's their that good.
