“It was good, we went to Empy's about 2 weeks ago. Tea was real southern sweet tea, my husband had BBQ plate it was good, I had hamburger steak wasn't bad but good. The dirty rice was NOT good, just plain rice with hot sausage in it. For the price it wasn't bad. I'm just happy it's something other than fast food. The service was good. Definitely kept our drinks filled. For Mt Olive it's a good inexpensive family restaurant. I would go again.”

“We've gotten take out from My Thai Bowl at least 4 times in the past few months. Every time, the service and food have been wonderful. All of our meals were packed well to avoid spilling on the drive home. However, we have attempted to call in orders on Monday and Thursday this week, after 5pm, and both times the restaurant was closed. Monday there was a Facebook post, but Thursday - nothing. We even went to the restaurant the second time, hoping they were just busy and no one could get the phone. Not the case. Closed up before 7pm and no sign or anything. :(”

Well, I wanted to see if the service was still good because my husband and I reheated pizza from here for two days and I was still impressed. We ventured on our Sunday morning ride out to Goldsboro (Krispy Kreme ) and thought why not Papa John's again? The young lady answered phone and greeted us politely. We were first customer. “This place, with just a tweak or two, could be top shelf, a destination attraction. My sweet potato was burnt. It took just a bit too long for water refills. The starters were great. We had calamari and crab dip. My pork chop was tasty. The salad bar was a delight. I prefer my baked sweet potato not burnt. Is that too much to ask? Good people, decent place.
