“While camping nearby, we decided to check this place out. It’s dog friendly so Rex was happy. We went on a Friday at lunch time and it was not crowded at all. Staffing seemed short but our waitress was hustling. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip appetizer. She did a flight of wine tastings and I ordered a very tasty honey dew ale. We sat outside on the deck that overlooks the creek. Great view. This place has a restaurant and a small campground (minimal hookups for around 10 campers or RVs). I would have given it a 5 star review, but one of the workers was using a gas blower very close by. They should have done that before opening or after closing. Otherwise a good experience.”

“I noticed this after hiking Stone Mountain. I pulled off and noticed it was closed. A car was there however. A lady named Vicky (who later introduced herself as Vicky Billings) came outside when she saw me and offered to let me look around even though the store wouldn't be open for another 45 minutes. Thanks to you. She let me peruse the store a bit. Bought a shirt and a damn fine cookies and cream on waffle cone. Hit the spot and much needed after hiking. The store is about as adorable as it gets. It has the feel of a log cabin and was dimly lit. They sell ice cream, crafts, clothes, fishing supplies, and fried type foods. I would have ordered some grub but I wasn't gonna do that to Vicky that early. This is a good stop after/before hiking to stock up on snacks or grab some food after seeing Stone Mountain.”

“Awesome omelets and pancakes! We called ahead to make sure they were still serving breakfast and got told, "I made some fresh biscuits for you since I knew you were coming." when we arrived. Now THAT is customer service!”
