“The tldr is the food was good but the dining experience wasn't all that good. When we got to Mad Jax we saw a waiting area that is "under construction". Then when we got to the actual building we were told (by a guest, not an employee) that a hostess would come out and put us on the waiting list to be seated. We were told that it would be about a 15 minutes wait and it was about a 15 minutes wait (so good job on the estimation). Since the waiting area was under construction we had to wait outside on one of the two available branded benches. The once we got inside as far as the service and food goes it was all fine. The only two gripes I had on the inside was the fact that there was table cloths on the table rather than an actual table. And the last issue I had was that there was no uniform or dress code the employees has to follow. While the waitresses we're friendly, some of them just wore clothes that you would see someone wear around the house. All in all the food was good the dining experience was sub par.”

“Amazing amount of food for a good price! It's a very tiny restaurant hence why it's to go meals. Inside there's a four sets of tables huddle in a corner. Literally a small space between the tables and the register. It can be hectic if you come in on a busy night. I recommend calling ahead to order then arrive to pick up and pay. They also sell dessert! They look delicious but I have yet to try it. I will definitely come again for a good plate of home style spaghetti! ????❤️”

“Great place a bit pricey but I'm an old guy and remember when coffee was scents a cup. That being said I enjoyed NY time there. The atmosphere was wonderful. Several tables and nobody was in a hurry. WiFi access and half the patrons were on their laptops. A good variety of coffee including cold brew. There was an ample assortment of craft beers. A large spacious area with concrete and wood was relaxing. If you enjoy coffee, beer and nice mellow surroundings, and patronage, give the Anchor a try.”
