Wonderful..had some of the best fried oysters I've ever eaten..prices were reasonable..good service..if you're looking 5 star atmosphere..go somewhere else..if you're looking good food served by good people in a super friendly environment then this is your place..
My breakfast and the prices were great but I wish they had turkey or beef sausages..
After a tour of the Wilson Whirligig Park, stopped by Amy Jo’s for a traditional, southern breakfast in a local establishment. Lots of locals convinced us we were in the right place. Wonderful southern cooking with excellent service!
Got the double hamburger with fries. You get enough to make two meals out of. That burger will make you break your jaws trying to get it in your mouth. Take my advice, make two meals out of the one order. Great food and plenty of it!!!!
When you think breakfast country cooking... You might be thinking Amy Jo's. Be selective over what you order though. Some breakfast food is cooked to order and fresh, others completely frozen. I ordered the chicken and cheese biscuit, thinking of a delicious fried piece of chicken with some delicious cheddar... Wrong. Frozen circle chicken patty... Disgusting! The grits and sausage were about the only thing going for this place. Be selective and ask questions...
