“Another wonderful small town in North Carolina worth taking the time to visit. One of the signature items is the Whirligigs around town and the Whirligig park. I stopped into the fish restaurant next to the Whirligig park, last visit, for a nice lunch. I also always like to stop into the old time hardware store as well. Got kids or are a kid at heart, make sure to check out the Imagination Station in town. Looking for some unique home decor you will find several shops to serve you in downtown. I have had the privilege of meeting a number of the good people working with the Historic Downtown Wilson and you need to check out their website for more information. ”

“I had the rice with sweet plantains banana and curry chicken it was delicious! It smelled so good I dug right in forgot to take a picture vegan to eat didn't stop until I was full. They serve enough because I took half the rice home with chicken! I learned that they cook real similar to Latin Cuisine ... Excellent and Delicious!! “I work right around the corner from this establishment, and was weary of eating there strictly based off its location. The inside was exceptionally clean, staff was wonderful and welcoming, and the food was the best! I had a texas lumberjack chicken sandwich and added swiss and onions. Also got 3 cookies as well, I have a sweet tooth :) It was under $7 which is a deal for the size of the sandwich... I will definitely be eating here more often now and have already begun recommending this restaurant to friends in the area. “Don't let the smaller size of the building fool you. It's a nice location with good food and service. Their country style buffet is the best in Wilson. Me and my father got there almost 20 minutes before they closed tonight, by accident. We're not "those kind" of customers, we forgot how late it was. Even though we ate fast we didn't finish our meal until past closing time. But nobody gave us the evil eye or tried to rush us. They treated us patiently and respectfully; true professionalism! If you want to eat where the staff is a class act, go to Western Sizzlin of Wilson.”

“A Wilson classic! We stopped by for a quick weekday lunch and enjoyed two freshly prepared hotdogs with chili and mustard (and one with slaw). Both served with French fries. Prices are more than reasonable. The atmosphere is wonderful with lots of vintage photos on the wall. The staff were wonderful and friendly, very accommodating. We were very glad to get to eat there and will be sure to stop there again the next time we are in Wilson.”
